Relay For Life Fundraiser Kickoff & Silent Auction on February 23, 2013. Tawas United Methodist Church on M-55 in Tawas City, doors open at 5:00p.m. and dinner starts at 6:00p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the band Lost Cause, so bring your dancing shoes. The theme is tailgating so casual dress is encouraged, including favorite sports jerseys and team apparel. Dinner will be what you would expect at a tailgate party, i.e. chili, sloppy joes, hot dogs, chips, dips, salsa, cookies, brownies, etc... There is no charge for this event, but donations will gladly be accepted and of course whatever you may want to spend on any silent auction items.
