Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

The Compassionate Friends Butterfly Release

Tuesday August 12, 2014 at 7 pm Lakewood Shores Pavilion This event is for families, as well as extended families and friends to come together to remember children taken too soon. The Compassionate Friends have adopted the butterfly as one of its symbols as a sign of hope and life after death.
