Each Wednesday night, April 1 through June 17, In His Presence Hale Assembly of God will be hosting a 12 week study from the book of Acts as a companion to the "A.D." Television Mini-Series being shown on NBC on Sunday nights beginning Easter Sunday. Lessons and discussions will be held each week to learn more about how the stories you're watching in the mini-series apply to your life and faith today. Starts at East Tawas Community Center β Registration 6:30 pm Tawas will be included in this international event which is held on 7 continents, in 22 countries and 49 states; whose mission statement is, βTo honor bicyclists injured or killed by motorists; promote sharing the road; and provide awareness of bicycling safety.β We will ride in silence with a police escort, from the East Tawas Community Center to the Tawas Point State Park Lighthouse. All ages are invited to participate. Tawas Point Grill is providing a hot dog, chips and water to all participants. Helmets are mandatory.
