As part of the Rifle River Restoration Project, Huron Pines, a nonprofit conservation organization, is leading the creation of an updated Watershed Management Plan for the watershed. Join Huron Pines and your neighbors for one of two public meetings to learn more about this vital process and discuss with other watershed enthusiasts. This is a great opportunity for residents of the watershed to help shape future conservation efforts that benefit their community and the unique natural resources of Ogemaw and Arenac Counties. Hospice Angelic Care is hosting Wings of Wellness Bereavement Support Group for Mothers with Angels. Meeting location is the Hospice Angelic Care Office from 5-6:30 pm starting on Thursday, May 24 and running each Thursday until June 28, 2012.
